Meeting with the General Secretary of Ministry of Education

A meeting of Chairman of Consortium, Professor Mr V. Papazogloy and the Permanent Committee of Magazines with the General Secretary of Ministry of Education, Professor Mr A. Karamano took place at Tuesday, 23rd of November. In the PG General were deposited memorandum and documentation relative with the running problems of Academic Libraries society(enactment of Consortium and Organism of Academic Libraries, financing of Consortium for the next years, co-ordination of institutionsof Consortium, VAT and problems of intellectual property).

Mr Karamanos was aware for all almost the problems and he confirmed once more the will of Ministry of Education that they are regulated all the dragging on subjects. Thus will be promoted immediately the frame of law for the Organism of Academic Libraries and will be deposited in the next Dean’s Session to discussion drawing of statute on the Consortium from Mr Papazogloy in the models of GUNet. Was once more confirmed the engagement of Ministry for continuation of financing of Consortium. Will be undertaken effort from the YpEPC for establishment VAT 4% for the electronic magazines and was encouraged effort of contact of Mr Papazogloy with the Chairman of Organism of Intellectual Property for the modification of relative Greek legislation for copyright.
