Update regarding HEAL-Link payments for 2013-2014

We would like to inform you that, while the payment of the publishers for HEAL-Link’s electronic resources was supposed to be completed by mid-September and then start with the procedures for 2014 payments, SWETS, the company who is the intermediary for many Greek Academic libraries, as well as for HEAL-Link for many decades, declared bankruptcy on September 23rd 2014.

HEAL-Link is now trying to terminate the contract with SWETS and start the procedures to be invoiced directly by the publishers. This will cause further delays to the payments to publishers and possible access problems to some publishers.
